I joined Indaba Music’s producing community online awhile back. It’s a good site for collaborating and networking your music. There are a lot of musicians ranging from amateur to pro. So if you like receiving feedback (good and bad) it’s worth exploring.

If you wanna enter the next level of recording and producing there is a feature called “Mantis“. This interface allows you to record and collaborate in a virtual session using your web browser. With a broadband internet connection you can work with other artists and musicians online. Suppose you have a solid foundation for a song but just need a little extra somethin’ – you can jam with other Indaba users to bang out your next hit. If you sign up for a pro or platinum account, additional features such as a larger sound library become available.

The remix opportunities on Indaba allow you to remix a song for an established artist.
