I come from Ensoniq EPS/ASR10 methodology. I’ve scoured the city and internet for SCSI drives and accessories. I have more frequently embraced digital audio workstations. My subscription to the “only use this DAW” theory went out the window years ago when developers started thinking like producers and hardware. Case in point: Reason 6 by Propellerheads Software. I have worked with various versions and I love the interface. The devices are solid. The merger of Reason + Record into Reason 6 makes it a worthy contender in the DAW arena.
